Our Approach

Live Healthy America began as a non-profit program funded by the Iowa Sports Foundation and the Richard O. Jacobson Foundation in 2001. The goal of Live Healthy America is to increase awareness of obesity, overweight, and associated conditions and to provide the tools, resources, and technology to assist individuals, organizations, and corporations in creating a culture of wellness.

As part of the Live Healthy America movement, Live Healthy Nebraska has grown to a wellness solution that motivates, educates and empowers organizations to make positive and lasting lifestyle changes to achieve optimal health.

Our online customized wellness challenges bring together teams of friends, families, employees and communities to create a lifestyle of healthy habits and physical activity that leads to improved nutrition and weight loss. By bridging the gap of your company wellness goals and those of your employees, we also help to drive down lifestyle-related health care costs, which benefits everyone involved.

All participants of Live Healthy Nebraska, a program of the Nebraska Sports Council, benefit in the form of healthier eating habits, increased physical activity levels, and a positive attitude.
